Julia died sometime before August 1856, when Richard remarried Mary "Polly" Lewis in Harrison County.

A marriage bond was taken out by Richard Perine and Alexander Kester on Oct 20 1817 for the marriage of Richard Perine and Julyan Tingler. The spelling "Julyan" is as it appears in the record. There is no indication as to the relationship of Alexander Kester to the couple.
