1920 Census, Harrison County, WV (City of Clarksburg), enumerated on Jan 3 1920 at 605 Baltimore Street:
Loyd L. Flint, 65, railroad laborer; wife Barbara M, 49, boarding house keeper; grandson Earl W. [sic] Fortney, 2y 4m.
NOTE: Earl Eugene Fortney was the son of Lloyd & Barbara's daughter Nellie, who died of tuberculosis in April 1918. The 13 additional persons enumerated were "boarders," most with no apparent relationship to the Flint family. Exceptions included Lloyd & Barbara's daughter Norma Flint, her husband Ernest Flint and their son Ernest Jr. Another of the boarders was Stokeley McClain, 57, widowed, stone cutter, who was a first cousin of Barbara's mother.
