Married Oct 15 1860 in Lewis County. (Note: Actual age of wife is not clear. Four months earlier, Barbara A. Hines (sic), 34, appeared in the Lewis County census as head-of-household. Her age in the 1870 Census was 40. It would appear that Himes/Hines was her maiden name from her previous marriage.)
