Event Notes
Note (1) Birthplace given in 1870 and 1880 censuses as Ireland, but in death record
and son's census record as England.  Age in death record puts birth in about
1841, but age in 1870 Census puts it in about 1843.
Note (2) Birth date given in Social Security records as March 9 1868, location White
Oak WV, which is in Ritchie County, and the 1900 Census also give his birth as
March 1868.  But he was age 2 months in the 1870 Census of Doddridge County,
with his birth date specified as March 1870.
