Event Notes
Note (1) "Davis - The Settlers of Salem WV," p. 161, reports birth date as 1888, and
death date as Jan 23 1941, both of which are incorrect.  The 1900 Census shows
his birth as Aug 1890, age 9, with Social Security records specifying Aug 16
1890.  And Social Secutiy records show his death date as Dec 20 1951.
