Morrison store from Jan 1929 to Jan 1953, when he pruchased the business and changed its name to Don E. McNutt's. He operated the store for the next 21 years, until selling the business in 1974. The following news article appeared on the front page of the West Union Herald on Feb 7 1929: NEW MANAGER AT MORRISONS STORES Mr. D. E. McNutt, who has been connected with the O. J. Morrison Store of Clarksburg for some time, has been made manager of the West Union store of the Morrison Stores Company. Mr. McNutt has taken the position formerly held by E. W.
