Event Notes
Note (1) Birth date given in 1900 Census as Feb 1881, but WW I draft registration
shows it as Feb 2 1885, while WW II draft registration has it as Feb 2 1884. 
His 1957 marriage record states his birth date as Feb 2 1892, age 65, clearly a
misstatement.  The  WV Births Index and the Social Security Death Index show it
as Feb 2 1882, while his death record indicates Feb 2 1881.
