(1) 1910 Census, Harrison County, WV.
(2) Doddridge County Birth Records, West Union, WV, There are two entries for this birth. (1) BR p. 100: Identified as
Roosevelt Hutson, white male, born Nov 17 1904 in Sedalia, son of Carl & Hattie Hutson. (2) BR p. 75: Identified as
Wendel Roosevelt Hutson, white male, born Nov 17 1908 in Sedalia, son of Carl Hutson & Hattie B. Hill; informant father.
(NOTE: The second entry appears to have been added long after the fact in the ledger-style birth record, as it appears
in the bottom margin following the 1909 births. The earlier entry is considered more credible and conforms to other
records. It is noted that he was age 5 in the 1910
Census.)
