Event Notes
Note (1) Headstone states that he was in his 80th year, putting birth in about 1800. 
But age 55 in 1860 Census and age 65 in 1870 Census would put it in about 1805. 
Death record states neither birth date nor age.
Note (2) Age in marriage record would put birth in about 1856, but 1900 Census shows
it as April 1852.  Obituary specifies Apr 4 1852, birthplace Montpelier,
Vermont, which is in Washington County.  But his marriage record shows his
birthplace as Orange County, Vermont.
Note (3) Also in household in 1900, besides wife:  His sister Anna (46, b. Vermont,
single), servant James Harper Jr (age not given, b. Ohio, teamster), servant
Charley Harper (20, b. WVa, single).
In 1920:  Foster child Helen O. Coulehan, 15, b. WVa; roomer John Sullivan,

In 1930, Thomas Coulehan was head of household, 78, occupation railroad
construction, marital status married.  The only other household member was a
