Event Notes Note (1) Although he was listed with his family in the 1920 Census of Doddridge County, enumerated on Jan 13 1920, Rolly Ash at that time was actually a patient in the Base Hospital at Camp Beauregard, Louisiana. The enumeration at the hospital, conducted on Jan 16 1920, listed as one of the patients: Rolly Ash, 24, b. WVa (both parents b. WVa), single, stationary engineer. Note (2) Age 22 in 1921 marriage record would put birth in about 1899. But age 27 in 1930 Census puts it in about 1903.
