Note (2) Birth date on headstone is 1848, and age at death calculates to a birth date of Dec 14 1848. But in the 1850 Census, her age was given as 8 months at the time of the Oct 2 1850 enumeration, putting her birth in Jan or early Feb 1850. The 1900 Census shows her birth date as Dec 1850, clearly an impossibility. With the recurring reporting of the December birth month, it's considered likely that her birth was actually in Dec 1849. Note (3) Birth date on headstone is May 1 1876.Name Index
