But birth date on headstone is 1851. Marital status "widowed" in death record is presumed to be a clerical error. Note (2) Age 11 in 1860 would put birth in about 1849, but she was not in the 1850 Census. Death record states that birth date was "not known" but age 82 would put birth in about 1850. But the 1900 Census (enumerated in June) states her birth date as Feb 1852, age 48.
