Note (7) There are two records for this birth, one showing birth date as Nov 4 1859 and another showing it as Nov 4 1861. The 1859 date is also reflected in his death record and obituary. However, he was not present for the 1860 Census, and his age was 8 in the 1870 Census. On that basis, the Nov 4 1861 date appears to be correct.
