Note (1) Nathaniel's pension records (fold3) state that Nathaniel Maxwell and
Clementina Davis were married by Peter Davis at Greenbrier. That would be
present-day Doddridge County.  (David D. Davis was made guardian of their minor
children and he was applying for Nathaniel's pension to be given to the
children.)
