Event Notes
Note (1) "Davis - The Settlers of Salem WV," p. 122, reports birth date as about 1850.
But 1860 Census gives age as 7, the same as brother Samuel, and Doddridge County
birth records indicate that they were twins, born on Jan 24 1853.
