Note (1) Birth date on headstone is Mar 4 1844, but age 12 at 1850 Census and age 26
given at 1865 marriage would put birth in about 1838/39.
Note (2) "Ritchie County Cemeteries through 1993," p. 611, reports a headstone at Mt.
Zion EUB Church for Emery Elias Thomas, died Sep 28 1920, age 52y 8m 8d, son of
John A. Thomas.  But there is also a joint headstone for him (Emory Thomas, 1864
- 1920) and his wife Alice at Cabin Run Cemetery in Doddridge County.  His death
record has no entry for burial location.
