Elisha's marriage record in Sep 1900 gave his age as 28 (b. ca 1872), and his death record states his birth date as Jun 26 1868. But the 1870 Census of Doddridge County is consistent with his birth record, showing him as a four-year-old son in the household of Eli B. Leeson and Clarinda. BR Bk 1, p. 24.
