Event Notes Note (1) Obituary gives her birth date as Oct 31 1928 in Salem, while her entry in the Social Security Applications & Claims shows it as Oct 31 1938 in Clarksburg, Harrison County. But her birth record (WV Births Index) shows it as Oct 30 1928 in Harrison County. According to immediate family, her birthday was always celebrated on October 31st. Basis for the discrepancy is not clear.
