Event Notes
Note (1) Hanna reports death date as about 1806.
Note (2) A death date of 1802 is reported by some researchers.
Note (3) William Gaston's death date is reported by Findagrave.com as 1808, based
principally on his Last Will & Testament being dated Jul 21 1803 and probated
Jul 21 1808. A death date of 1804 has also been reported. "Ohio Valley
Genealogies," p 41, reports that this William Gaston settled in Illinois, which
is contradicted by other researchers.
