(11) Doddridge County Death Records, West Union, WV, There are two conflicting records for this death, made as consecutive 
entries in the ledger-style death record book.  The first entry, made by undertaker C. S. Pease, states the death date 
as Mar 10 1911, cause of death childbirth.  The second entry, made by physician A. Poole, states the death date as Mar 
17 1911, cause of death eclampsia, which is a complication of pregnancy and childbirth.  While not specifying the date 
of death, her obituary in the West Union Herald of Thursday, Mar 23 1911, states that the funeral services were held on 
Sunday morning.  This leads to the conclusion that the correct death date would have been Friday, Mar 17 1911. DR p. 162
