      Minnie Kendall Lowther's "History of Ritchie County," p. 155, reports Phebe Cunningham Lowther's burial location as Pioneer Cemetery in Harrisville, and "Ritchie County WV Cemeteries," p. 579, does show an undated marker for her there, identifying her as Phoebe Cunningham Lowther, wife of Jessee C. Lowther. But "Ritchie County WV Cemeteries," p. 213, also shows a marker for her at the Cairo IOOF Cemetery, dates 1794-1871, and identifying her as Phebe Cunningham Lowther, wife of Jessie C. and daughter of William. Since Phebe's parents, husband Jesse, and some of her children are also shown at the Pioneer Cemetery, that is considered the more likely location.
