But her birth date was listed in the 1900 Census as Nov 1825, age 74, while age 23 in the 1850 Census puts it in about 1827. Some researchers report her birth as October 1830 in Franklin County, Virginia. The 1900 Census also states that she was the mother of 10 children, of whom 7 were still living.
