    • There is a wide variance of the age and birth date of Albert Pratt as reported in the various records. His birth date is given in his marriage record as Oct 1862, but the 1900 Census shows it as Sep 1864, while age 39y 4m 7d in his death record calculates to a birth date of 6 Sep 1861. But he was age 7 in the 1870 Census (enumerated in August) and age 18 in the 1880 Census (enumerated in June), thus putting his birth in about 1862 or 1863. There is no birth record. The 1870 birth date on his headstone is clearly incorrect.
