- The birth record of Dora Sullivan identifies her as the daughter of Ollie Sullivan, the nickname of Elizabeth Olive Sullivan. According to the 1939 obituary of Ollie's aunt Rebecca Elizabeth Bennett, Ollie had married a Smith and was living in Indianapolis. But in the 1900 Census of West Union, Dora Sullivan was identified as an orphan and residing in the home of Robert J. and Sarah J. (Moore) McConnell, to whom she was not related. When Dora married Charles Ault in 1909, her name in the marriage record was Dora Belle McConnell.
