      John A. Knight, 57, farmer; wife Lucinda, 28, cannot read/write; son Jacob S, 22, farm laborer, cannot read/write; dau Pecalla, 20; son Benjamin, 18, farm laborer, cannot read/write; son John R, 14, farm laborer, cannot read/write; son Michael, 12, works on farm, attended school within the year, cannot write; dau Carrie F, 7, attended school; dau Addie, 3.
      NOTE: Ages given for the two youngest daughters are at variance with other records, which tend to show Carrie's birth year in about 1877 and Addie's in about 1876. Carrie's birth date in the 1900 Census was May 1877, and the date on her headstone is also 1877. Addie's age fluctuates widely in the various records, putting her birth anywhere from 1872 to 1882. The date on her headstone is 1876. No birth record has been found for either of them.
