  Marion and LaVonne Goff operated the A. Goff and Sons Polled Hereford Farm in Ritchie County until his passing in 2004. LaVonne was also very active in the WV and Ritchie Polled Hereford Association, and the WV Hereford Pollettes. She was an active member of the WV and Ritchie County Farm Bureaus and was the 2009 recipient of the WV Farm Heritage Award. LaVonne was a 4H All-Star and a former 4H leader of the Washburn Warriors 4H Club. She was also very involved with the Ritchie County JAM Camp. [2]
