But the 1900 Census shows it as Oct 1859, age 40, while her obituary states Dec 7 1858. Note (2) "in the town cemetery" Note (3) Along with children Josephine and Perry, listed in household of her parents. Her marital status was married, but her husband was not present. Also in the household was Duncan Holmes, b. March 1878, a typesetter, listed as a boarder. Note (4) Birth date given in 1900 Census as June 1885, but his birth record and WW I & WW II draft registrations show it as May 12 1885. Note (5) Age in death record calculates to a birth date of Dec 16 1887. But birth record shows it as May 12 1888. Middle initial is "N" in birth record, but "M" in death record. Note (6) Death record gives burial location only as West Union. It is assumed that she was buried in the Blockhouse Hill Cemetery, in either the IOOF or the Old SDB section, where much of her immediate family is buried, Note (7) Birth record indicates a birth date of July 30 1891, and the 1900 Census also shows it as July 1891. But all military and Social Security records show it as July 25 1892. Note (8) In Veterans Administration facility. Contact person listed as Ingle Pease, General Delivery, West Union W.Va. Note (9) Records of the U.S. National Homes for Volunteer Soldiers show that Perry J. Ingle enlisted as a Private in Clarksburg W.Va. Sep 1916 (headstone application states Jun 29 1916), and that he was discharged at Camp Dix, New Jersey, on Aug 6 1919 (headstone application states Aug 5 1919). He was first admitted to the Home in Dayton, Ohio, on Dec 12 1930, with his disability listed as myocarditis, and was dischared on Jul 8 1931. His next of kin was listed as Henry P. Ingle, West Union, W.Va. Two subseqent stays at the home were from Sep 30 1931 to May 13 1932, and from Dec 15 1932 to Jun 12 1933. There was at least one subsequent admission, since Perry J. Ingle was shown as a resident of the Veterans Administration facilty in Dayton in the 1940 Census and again in his World War II draft registration in 1942.
