Note (2) In the 1840 Census of Harrison County (in the part that is present Doddridge), Henderson Lowther was head of household, with a woman of his mother's age. William Jesse Lowther is not found in the 1840 Census. Note (3) in household with cousin Jonathan Coburn Lowther Note (4) Birth date reported by Don Norman as 1815, basis for which is not given. But her marriage record and two of the three census records found for her indicate a birth date of about 1827. She did not appear with her family in the 1850 Census, and no death record or burial information has been found for her..
