Also, the age at death appearing on her headstone, 72y 4m 24d, would put her birth date as Nov 25 1808, rather than the Nov 24 1809 given in the same Doddridge County History article. The age for both her and her husband in the 1850 Census, enumerated on Jul 22 1850, was 41. No death record has been found. Note (2) "History of Doddridge County," p. 154, gives marriage date as Sep 25 1857. This is incorrect. Marriage records show they were married on Jun 18 1885. Martha Leggett's birthdate was Sep 26 1857.
