Event Notes
Note (1) Age 74 in 1940 Census, enumerated in April, would put birth in about 1866. 
But age was given in his death record the following month as 83y 4m 20d, with
birth date specified as Dec 11 1856.  But age 2 in 1860 Census, age 11 in 1870
Census, and age 61 in 1920 Census puts birth in about 1858 or 1859, while 1900
Census states Dec 1863.
