Event Notes Note (1) Birth date given in 1900 Census as April 1864. Note (2) There is conflicting information about Ollie Margaret Sigler's exact date of birth. It was given as Sep 1868, age 31, in the 1900 Census, and she was age 12 in the 1880 Census. This conforms to her birth record, in which she is listed as a male (sic), Oliver (sic) M. Sigler, born Sep 2 1868 in Grant District of Ritchie County, parents Jefferson R. Sigler (merchant) and Jane Sigler. But age 28 in her 1895 marriage record puts her birth in about 1867, while the birth date in her death record and on her mausoleum marker is Sep 2 1869. Further complicating matters is that she was not with her family in the 1870 Census.
