Note (1) In keeping with her wishes, her body was donated to the West Virginia School
of Osteopathic Medicine, Lewisburg, WV.  A grave marker for her in the Pitts
family plot at Freeman-Coleman Cemetery is inscribed "She Made a Difference -
Marguerite Elizabeth Dykeman."
Note (2) Headstone application form incorrectly states burial location as the nearby
Masonic Cemetery.
