on Oct 20 1817 for the marriage of Richard Perine and Julyan Tingler.  The spelling "Julyan" is as it appears in the 
record.  There is no indication as to the relationship of Alexander Kester to the couple.  It is not stated when the

(13) Harrison County Marriage Records, Clarksburg, WV, MR Bk 6, p. 216, shows that on Aug 17 1840, Richard Perine and Andrew 
Gaston signed a marriage bond in the amount of $150 for David Prine [sic] and Matilda Gaston.  But MR Bk 3, p. 148, 
shows that when the minister returned the certificate for the Aug 27 1840 ceremony, the groom's first name was 
erroneously entered as Daniel.  It is clear, however, that it was David Perine who married Matilda Gaston. MR Bk 3, p. 
148; MR Bk 6, p. 216.
