Event Notes
Note (1) The headstone for Mary J. Perine gives dates only as the years 1856 and 1932.
That birth year conflicts with the Mar 25 1857 birthdate stated in her birth
record.  Her birth has also been reported as Mar 25 1855, basis for which is not
known and which nonetheless conflicts with her birth record.  Some researchers
report her middle name spelled Jain, basis not specified.  Her birth record
identifies her only as Jane Fleming.
Note (2) Place of death:  Rock Camp.  Death record and obituary have spelling of his
and his father's name as "Perrine."  But "Perine" is the more usual form for him
and his family, and it is the spelling found on his grave marker.
Note (3) Incorrectly identified in obituary of sister Lula as "Donna May
Britton"
Note (4) Obituary of Lula Perine Sullivan gives her birth date as Mar 21 1889 at
Arnolds Creek, Doddridge Co.  But her birth record states Mar 30 1889.
