Note (1) In 1880, she was head of household, 55, widowed, b. Pa. (both parents b. NJ),
with children Aaron, James, John and Jefferson.
In 1900, listed as mother Elizebath Burwell, 75, widowed, b. Feb 1825 in Pa.
(both parents b. Pa.), mother of 7 children (all still living).
(NOTE:  Inasmuch as husband Laven Burwell was found living in West Virginia
in both of these censuses, marital status married in 1880 and widowed in 1900,
it appears likely that the couple was estranged and perhaps either legally
separated or divorced.
