(NOTE: Wife's age appears to be understated by several years. Age 28 in the 1860 Census would put her birth in about 1832, while age 21 in 1850 would put it in about 1829.), MR p. 63, Line 11 : http://www.wvculture.org/vrr/va_view.aspx?Id=253916&Type=Marriage. Event Notes Note (1) Formation of the North Fork of Hughes River SDB Church, 1833: Lewis and Lydia Bond were among the first nine members. Lewis was appointed deacon and his son, Ethelbert, was elected clerk. In 1837, the church became a member of the Western Association. It was still only nine members strong. On Mar 13 1857, having moved from Doddridge County to Quiet Dell in Harrison County, Lewis and Lydia applied to join the Lost Creek SDB Church.
