Event Notes
Note (1) Death date given in one version of wife's obituary as August 29 1880.  But
his will was probated on Jun 4 1880, and she was listed as a widow in the Census
enumeration of Jun 26 1880.  The U.S. Federal Census Mortality Schedule shows
that he died in April 1880.  Another version of wife's obituary provides the
correct date, Apr 29 1880.
