His military grave marker has no birth or death dates, only his name and military unit. Note (2) Birth date in death record is given as Apr 12 1859. But date on headstone is 1860, age 33 given at time of Oct 1894 marriage would put birth in about 1861, and the 1900 Census gives her birth date as Apr 1862. Age 8 in the 1870 Census would also put it in about 1862. Note (3) Birth date given in 1900 Census as June 1870, but birth record shows it as January 3, 1869. She was age 11 months in the 1870 Census, enumerated on Jul 25 1870.Name Index
