Event Notes Note (1) In household of son Henry Rollins and his family. Note (2) Information from his pension application in Harrison County, Virginia, dated 15 Jun 1818 ... Moses Rollins enlisted in 1780 in Culpeper, Virginia, under the command of Captain Smith, attached to the regiment commanded by Col. Buford of the regular service. He remained in service until the end of the Revolutionary War. He was wounded at the Battle of Guilford Courthouse in North Carolina on March 15, 1781. Both legs, below the knees, were amputated as a result of disease incurred during the war. His second wife, Nancy, was 25 years old in 1820. In addition to sons Henry, Jeremiah and Edward, his children in 1820 included daughters Sally (age 5), and Rebecca (age 1 year).
