Event Notes Note (1) Birth date on headstone and in death record is Dec 12 1867, with birthplace given as Tyler County. But her birth record shows it as Dec 12 1866 in Doddridge County. Death date on headstone is Apr 25 1933, but death record states that she died on at Sistersville General Hospital on Apr 26 1933 at 3:30 a.m. from a gas explosion and fire that occurred on Apr 24th, resulting in 2nd degree burns over two-thirds of her body. Note (2) Birth date given in 1900 Census as Apr 1867, but age 1 in 1870 Census and age 11 in 1880 Census would put it in about 1869. Note (3) Birth date given in death record as Jan 24 1871, but date on headstone is Jan 24 1873, while 1900 Census shows it as Jan 1872. Age 23 at time of Oct 1894 marriage and age 39 in 1910 Census would put it in about 1871.
