[Will Book 1-A] Note (2) Records of the Doddridge County Overseer of the Poor, July 1848, now on file at the West Virginia State Archive, contain the following four entries, all pertaining to Mary Maury Tucker: "William J.Davis for conveying corpse of Mary Tucker deceased to place of interment $1.50" "Joseph Cheuvront for coffin for same $4.00" "William F. Lewin for burying clothes for same $3.43" "Dr. E. [Ethelbert] Bond for Doctoring same $20.00" Note (3) In 1860, along with daughter Eleanor, in household of son Henry. Note (4) Emery Malone's civil war medal is at the archives. He was born in Doddridge and died in 1865 from starvation after being a prisoner of war He was the great grandson of Henry Tucker.Name Index
