Event Notes Note (1) per deed from Samuel Archbold to Warner Chapman Note (2) The will of James Archbold states that he had a predeceased son John F. Archbold. We have found no other record of that son. Burial place is also not known, but is likely to be in the family plot at Archbold Cemetery in Smithburg. There is another John F. Archbold, died Jan 5 1836, age 18, buried at Archbold Cemetery, whose relationship to the James Archbold family is not known.
