This oversight in printing is often administratively corrected by crossing out the word "birth" and substituting "death," in which case the intent of the entry is clear. Since the heading of this particular record was not modified, it is unclear whether its entry, Lost Creek, was referring to the deceased's place of birth or death. The latter is most likely.
