Note (1) Birth date given in 1900 Census as Nov 1826, although some researchers report
it as Oct 27 1826.
Note (2) Her age was 11 in the 1860 Census, but she was not listed in the 1850
Census.
Note (3) Age 34 given at marriage in May 1895 would put birth in about 1861.  But he
was listed in the 1860 Census, age three, and the 1900 Census gives his birth
date as Jun 1858.
Note (4) Marriage record in 1897 show age as 27 and birth in Doddridge Co, and 1946
marriage record shows birth as Jul 12 1869 in Doddridge Co.  But death record
has it as Jul 12 1867 in Tyler Co, and researcher Marilyn Britton Gump reports
it as Jul 12 1867 in Elizabeth, Wirt Co.  His birthdate was given as Jul 1870 in
the 1900 Census, and birth date on headstone is 1868.
Note (5) Birth date given in death record as Jun 2 1871.  But age in 1880 Census was
7, and his birth date was given in the 1900 Census as June 1874.
Note (6) Death date on headstone is Nov 10 1957, but death record shows it as Nov 9
