Event Notes Note (1) Birth date and corresponding age were grossly misstated in his 1949 marriage record, which stated his birth date as Feb 18 1896, age 52. But his 1953 death record shows his birth date as Feb 18 1866, age 86, while his obituary states Feb 16 1867, also age 86. The 1900 Census gives his birth date as Feb 1872, age 28. Note (2) Birth date incorrectly given in death record as Mar 22 1876. But her stated age 82y 2m 20d in the death record calculates to a birth date of Mar 23 1866, corresponding to her age 29 given in her 1895 marriage record. This is confirmed by her birth record, showing that she was born on Mar 22 1866.
