Event Notes
Note (1) Birth date given in death record as Jul 27 1896.  But his WW I and WW II
draft registrations show it as Jul 27 1895, and the date on his headstone is
also 1895.
Note (2) According to her 1933 marriage record, she was born in Tyler County in about
1912, four years before her actual 1916 birth date.  The 1940 Census also states
her birthplace as West Virginia, while the 1920 Census shows it as Georgia.  But
the 1930 Census shows that she was born in Alabama, which has been corroborated
elsewhere.
