He was age 6 in the 1870 Census, enumerated on Nov 20 1870. Note (2) at California House Note (3) Birth date on headstone is 1865. Note (4) Findagrave reports burial of William A. Freeman and his wife Arminta, as well as their daughter Rosa Lee Cottrill, at both the Freeman Cemetery at Piggin Run in West Union, and also at the Chestnut Grove Cemetery at Big Flint. The accompanying headstone photos appear to be of the same marker, inscribed with the names and dates of both William and Arminta on one, and of their daughter on the other. William's obituary states that he was buried at the Freeman Cemetery. Note (5) Birth date on headstone is Dec 3 1871. But 1900 Census shows it as Dec 1870, and age at death calculates to a birth date of Dec 3 1870. Note (6) The double headstone with her first husband has her birth date, but no death date. It is assumed that this is her burial location.Name Index
