Event Notes
Note (1) Birthplace given as West Virginia in 1930 Census, but obituary states
Middleport, Ohio, with family moving to West Virginia when he was age 2.
Note (2) In World War II, he served in the Pacific Theater flying on B-29's out of
Guam.  In the Korean War, he served on cargo aircraft flying in and out of Korea
from Japan, where he was stationed.  He participated in several evacuations from
Korea.
