But in 1870 Census, he was age 19, older than siblings Nancy (17) and Valentine (13), making the 1851 birth date correct. Note (3) Birth date given in 1900 Census as Mar 1855. But age 8 in 1860 Census puts it in about 1852. Note (4) Birth date given in 1900 Census as Oct 1857. Note (5) Birth records states birth date as Apr 29 1869.
