(NOTE: Doddridge County death records show an unnamed Ball, a "farmer's child" whose gender and parents were not given, age 6 days, who died at Morgansville of "infantile ailments" on Nov 10 1915. That date was a Wednesday. In this case, it appears that the more specific newspaper account is in error. The child's headstone, which shows his name as Victor Ball, is in agreement with the death record, shows his birth date Nov 3 1915, and his death date Nov 10 1915.)
